UPDATE: Jacksonville, FL – Victim of Heckscher Dr Crash Identified
Jacksonville, FL (February 14, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Monday claimed one woman’s life.
On February 11, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 9700 block of Hecksher Drive.
Reports indicate that 80-year-old Mariam Folk was traveling down the roadway in a Toyota Prius when her vehicle was struck by a Ford F-250.
Folk suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was immediately declared deceased.
The driver of the Ford, who was identified as 34-year-old Andres Vasquez Lopez, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
At this time, police are investigating.
