Jacksonville, FL (June 20, 2020) – Around 10 a.m. this morning, a serious car accident with injuries took place on a major highway in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the collision took place in the southbound lanes of I-295 around the area of West Beaver Street. Multiple vehicles collided with one another at the scene of the accident and sustained severe damages.

Numerous emergency responders including fire crews and paramedics were present at the scene to assist those with injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was quickly cleared by the police.

No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
