Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on I-95 Near Old St. Augustine Rd

Jacksonville, FL (February 11, 2020) – Around 10:30 a.m. this morning, a car accident involving a hit-and-run driver took place in the southbound lanes of I-95.

Jacksonville Police claim that the collision took place in the southbound lanes of the highway near the area of Old St. Augustine Road.

Police did not confirm the exact circumstances of the collision but it is believed that a vehicle struck another and then fled the scene. There was damage to both of the vehicles involved.

Paramedics were present at the scene of the collision assisting those with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.

Police continue to investigate the collision at this time.
