Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on Mathews Bridge Leads to Injuries
Jacksonville, FL (November 27, 2019) – Around 7 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident on the Mathews Bridge that led to injuries.
According to police, the crash took place in the eastbound lanes on the bridge right next to the St. Johns River. The right lane of traffic was blocked for some time following the collision.
The accident involved at least two or more vehicles and various emergency responders were called to assist at the scene, including local law enforcement and paramedics. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
There were extensive delays until police were able to clear the right lane.
No further details are known concerning the accident but the investigation continues.
