Jacksonville, FL – Officer Injured in Car Crash on W Beaver St
Jacksonville, FL (November 6, 2019) – Around 8 a.m. this morning, an officer was seriously injured in a car crash that took place at 16000 West Beaver Street in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was immediately dispatched to the scene to investigate around 8 a.m. They soon learned that the crash involved an officer on a motorcycle.
Police have not commented on any injuries sustained by the motorcyclist but claim that the officer sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
All lanes of the roadway were closed down at one point but quickly reopened as police worked at the scene.
No other information has been reported but the investigation is currently ongoing.
