Jacksonville, FL – Pedestrian Crash at Fort George Rd and Heckscher Dr
Jacksonville, FL (May 24, 2020) – Last afternoon, May 23, a pedestrian crash with serious injuries occurred at a Jacksonville intersection.
The accident took place around noon at the intersection of Fort George Road and Heckscher Drive. An unidentified pedestrian was attempting to cross the street when they were struck by a vehicle.
Jacksonville Fire Rescue and paramedics assisted the victim, who was seriously injured. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment but their current condition is not known.
At this time, the investigation into the collision continues.
