St. Augustine, FL (May 12, 2020) – This afternoon, authorities were called to the scene of a serious car accident with injuries at a St. Augustine intersection.

Though few details have been released regarding the accident, it is believed that the collision took place at the intersection of US-1 and Stokes Landing Road when at least two vehicles collided.

It is believed that the vehicles may have entered into the intersection at the same time, with one turning in front of the other. Due to the severity of the accident, a portion of the intersection was closed for a short period of time.

Injuries were reported and paramedics were called to the scene so that they could assist those with injuries. However, the extent of the trauma is not known.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
