Palatka, FL – Car Accident with Injuries at FL-19 and S Moody Rd
Palatka, FL (July 17, 2020) – This morning, numerous responders were dispatched to assist at the scene of a car accident in Palatka.
According to police, the accident happened around 11 a.m. when two or more vehicles collided at the intersection of FL-19 and South Moody Road in Palatka. Police have not yet provided details on the circumstances leading up to the collision.
Various emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident including fire crews, paramedics, and local law enforcement officials. While there, they worked to clear the scene and assist those with injuries. It is not yet known how many parties were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Police worked diligently to clear the intersection so that traffic could quickly resume as normal.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
