Jacksonville, FL – Serious Injuries in Car Crash with Officer on I-95

Jacksonville, FL (February 24, 2020) – Jacksonville authorities responded to the scene of a car crash that led to serious injuries in a trooper and another driver on I-95.

The collision took place around 9 p.m. last night, February 23 on Jacksonville’s Northside. A Chevy Silverado allegedly slammed into the back of a patrol cruiser. The driver of the pickup truck that hit the cruiser was identified as 31-year-old Aaron Klausman.

Both of the victims were hospitalized. Police confirmed that charges are pending against the pickup truck driver.

A few lanes on the highway were closed down for a period of time after the accident. The investigation continues.
