Middleburg, FL – School Bus Accident at Blanding Blvd Intersection
Middleburg, FL (January 9, 2020) – On Wednesday, a school bus accident took place at the intersection of Blanding Boulevard and Forman Circle in Middleburg.
According to authorities in Clay County, the accident involved a school bus and five other vehicles, which ended with two injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol indicated that the school bus was stopped and had its lights activated when a truck rear-ended a van causing a chain-reaction collision that ended up slamming into the front of the school bus.
Troopers say that the injuries were to victims inside the vehicles and nobody inside the school bus.
The driver of the truck who caused the collision was cited for careless driving.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision at this time.
