St. Augustine, FL (November 24, 2019) – This afternoon, police responded to the scene of a car crash with injuries that took place on Old Beach Road in St. Augustine.

The accident, according to authorities, blocked the road entirely in the area that it took place. There was a variety of emergency responders including paramedics, fire crews, and law enforcement at the scene.

Paramedics assisted one or more parties with their injuries. It is believed that they were hospitalized but police have not confirmed this.

Police were able to clear the scene within the hour. Their investigation of the accident is currently ongoing.
