Lake City, FL (January 19, 2020) – On Saturday evening around 9:55 p.m., authorities responded to the scene of a fatal head-on collision on FL-10 in Lake City. The accident occurred when a Mercury sedan was traveling west on the highway and went over the centerline. It then struck a Toyota Rav4. Lake City, FL (January 12, 2020) – On Saturday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal bicycle collision on Lake Jeffery Road. A 26-year-old driver was in his 2019 Corolla when he suddenly struck the back of a bicycle being driven by 52-year-old Alan Odom. Lake City, FL (January 12, 2020) – Around 4:15 a.m. this morning, a pedestrian crash took place at the intersection of US-41 and Southwest High Street in Lake City. According to police, 25-year-old Eugene Farmer Jr. was walking across the southbound lane of traffic when he was suddenly struck by a Dodge van being driven by a 41-year-old woman from Lake City.
