Lake City, FL – Fatal Head-on Collision on FL-10
Lake City, FL (January 19, 2020) – On Saturday evening around 9:55 p.m., authorities responded to the scene of a fatal head-on collision on FL-10 in Lake City.
The accident occurred when a Mercury sedan was traveling west on the highway and went over the centerline. It then struck a Toyota Rav4.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as 64-year-old Jane Kaufman, died at the scene of the collision.
The driver of the Mercury, identified as a 27-year-old man from Lake City, suffered minor injuries. He was not taken to the hospital.
Authorities are working on an investigation into the accident.
