Fernandina Beach, FL – Car Crash at Simmons Rd and 14th St

Fernandina Beach, FL (January 25, 2020) – Around 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, police responded to a serious multi-vehicle car crash that caused injuries at a Fernandina Beach intersection.

According to police, the collision took place at the intersection of Simmons Road and 15th Street in Fernandina Beach.

Police did not comment on the exact circumstances of the collision but numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident and that paramedics assisted those with injuries.

The roadway was blocked for a period of time following the accident. Police worked to clear the scene for several hours.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
