Green Cove Springs, FL – Car Accident on FL-16 on Shands Bridge
Green Cove Springs, FL (April 12, 2020) – Around 6 p.m. on April 11, a serious car accident took place on a bridge in Green Cove Springs.
Few details have been released but police confirmed that the collision took place on FL-16 on the Shands Bridge. It is believed that two or more vehicles collided with one another.
The westbound lane of the bridge was completely blocked for several hours due to the severity of the damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and other responders were called to assist at the scene of the accident. Injuries were reported but, at this time, we do not know the conditions of those involved.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing at this time.
