Jacksonville, FL – Bicycle Accident Involving Police on Trout River Blvd
Jacksonville, FL (January 15, 2020) – On Tuesday around 10 p.m., a serious bicycle accident took place at 5600 Trout River Boulevard in Jacksonville.
The accident happened when a police officer was traveling eastbound in a cruiser on a routine patrol. For reasons that are still being investigated, the patrol vehicle collided with the bicycle.
The bicyclist was immediately taken to the hospital with a variety of serious injuries. Their current condition is not known.
JSO continues to investigate fault at this time.
