Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on I-295 Near Collins Rd
Jacksonville, FL (May 6, 2020) – Around 11:11 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident on a major highway.
Though the circumstances of the collision are not yet known, it is believed that two or more vehicles forcefully collided in the northbound lanes of I-295 near Collins Road.
Jacksonville law enforcement officials, fire crews, and paramedics all responded to the scene after it was initially reported. There were injuries as a result of the accident but paramedics did not confirm the conditions of those involved.
The northbound lanes of traffic were closed down in the area for a short period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
