Lake City, FL (July 10, 2020) – Around 8:51 a.m. this morning, a hit-and-run crash took place at a Lake City intersection.

Though few details have been released, authorities confirmed that the crash took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Lake Jeffery Road and Bascom Norris Drive. One of the vehicles then fled the scene. It is not known if the police caught the driver responsible for the collision.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.

The roadway was quickly cleared by the police.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
