Jacksonville, Fl – Car Accident On I-295 Near New Kings Rd

Jacksonville, FL (March 29, 2020) – Jacksonville Police responded to the scene of a serious car accident around 11 a.m. this morning.

According to police, the collision occurred when two or more vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of I-295 around the area of New Kings Road.

Duval County authorities including law enforcement officials, paramedics, and fire crews were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted one or more victims with their injuries. However, their conditions are not yet known.

The left lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time, leading to delays.

No further details have been provided. The investigation continues.
