Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on Mathews Bridge Leads to Injuries
Jacksonville, FL (November 14, 2019) – This morning around 2:45 a.m., police responded to the scene of a car accident on the Mathews Bridge in Jacksonville.
The accident, according to authorities, involved two or more vehicles and took place in the area of the St. Johns River. After 5 a.m. when vehicles were driving through the area due to rush hour, traffic continued as usual.
The right lane of traffic was blocked for several hours as various emergency responders assisted at the scene of the accident including Jacksonville Police, paramedics, fire crews, and more.
Paramedics assisted multiple parties with their injuries. Unfortunately, their conditions are not known at this time.
The investigation of the accident is ongoing at this time.
