Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident with Injuries on FL-9A

Jacksonville, FL (November 4, 2019) – Around 6:30 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on FL-9A in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville authorities have not yet confirmed the circumstances leading up to the collision but have stated that there was a large presence of authorities, paramedics, fire crews, and various other emergency services present at the scene.

The crash closed down the eastbound lanes of the highway, causing vast delays in the area for some time. It took police several hours this morning to clear the scene as they started their initial investigations.

The extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, though it is believed that one or more were hospitalized.
