Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Crash on I-295 in Area of Pritchard Rd
Jacksonville, FL (June 3, 2020) – Early this morning, a fatal crash took place in Jacksonville that closed down a portion of the highway.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the collision around 9:49 a.m. where they discovered that two or more vehicles collided in a fatal accident in the northbound lanes of I-295. The accident took place near the area of Pritchard Road.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene of the accident where they assisted those in need. One or more victims were tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to the collision.
The exit ramp onto Pritchard Road was blocked, as well as a right lane on I-295. Police quickly cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
