Fatal Accidents in Florida
In 2018, approximately 254,000 total crashes took place leading to thousands upon thousands of injuries in Florida. With so many collisions taking place throughout the state, it is no surprise that a percentage of these accidents are head-on collisions. In fact, in just one recent year, 2.1% of accidents were deemed head-on collisions, which are some of the most severe accidents that occur on our roads. These accidents occur in the blink of an eye when a driver crosses into the other lane of traffic, forcefully colliding head-on into another vehicle. These accidents are usually incredibly damaging and severe, which is why it is important to have legal help on your side.
Because head-on collisions are incredibly forceful, this means that they are more likely to lead to some of the most catastrophic injuries. Some injuries that tend to stem from these accidents include spinal cord injuries, TBIs, broken bones, burns, and organ damage among many others. Because of the fact that drivers are not always paying close attention to the roads around them, these accidents sometimes occur in the blink of an eye and turn your life upside-down. On top of that, they are also more likely to lead to fatalities. If you have been injured or lost someone you love in a fatal collision, it is imperative that you speak with a wrongful death attorney in your time of need.
