Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Injuries Reported in I-10 Collision
Jacksonville, FL (January 6, 2020) – A fatal collision caused a closure of the Interstate early Monday.
On January 6, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 10. Reports indicate that an SUV crashed along the culvert off the highway. This collision caused a chain-reaction crash in which a semi-truck and a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office cruiser collided.
One person involved in the crash sustained fatal injuries. Authorities sadly declared the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
