Jacksonville, FL (July 30, 2020) – Around 11:39 a.m. this morning, a hit-and-run crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Jacksonville.

The accident, according to police, took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Rayford Street and McDuff Avenue. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident after impact.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, fire crews, and paramedics were all dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The severity of the injuries is not yet known but it is believed that the injured victims were all transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police did not confirm if they caught the driver who fled the scene of the accident. The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a short period of time.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision at this time.
