Jacksonville, FL – Injuries Reported in Car Accident on I-295
Jacksonville, FL (June 29, 2020) – Late last night, police confirmed that injuries were reported following a car accident on a highway in Jacksonville.
The accident allegedly took place in the southbound lanes of I-295 when multiple vehicles collided with each other.
One person was ejected from a vehicle while another person was trapped inside their vehicle. Fire crews worked to extricate the party.
Numerous emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Paramedics transported the injured victims to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
There were extensive delays in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
