Jacksonville, FL – Man Killed in Fatal Crash on Cecil Commerce Center Pkwy

Jacksonville, FL (December 15, 2019) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal crash on the Cecil Commerce Center Parkway in Jacksonville.

The accident took place last evening, December 14. At the time, 56-year-old Robert Meixel Jr. was driving his Chevy 2500 truck when he was suddenly struck by another truck while turning left.

Meixel tragically passed away at the scene of the collision. There was a 7-year-old passenger in his truck who suffered minor injuries.

Charges are pending for the other driver at this time. The investigation continues at this time.
