Jacksonville, FL (May 17, 2020) – Numerous emergency responders assisted at the scene of a semi-truck accident involving a passenger vehicle in Jacksonville.

According to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and Sheriff’s deputies, the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of I-10 around the area of Chaffee Road. The crash took place when a passenger vehicle and truck collided for reasons that are not yet known.

As a result of the accident, multiple people were injured. At least one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

There were extensive delays in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
