Interlachen, Fl – Fatal Bicycle Crash At Fowler St And Marion Ave
Interlachen, FL (March 26, 2020) – This morning, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that one person was struck and killed in an Interlachen bicycle crash.
The accident, according to authorities, took place at the intersection of Fowler Street and Marion Avenue. A vehicle was headed eastbound in the area when it suddenly struck the bicyclist.
Police confirmed that the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. Their identity was not released, however.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene and continued driving eastbound. Troopers have not yet been able to describe any details of the vehicle.
The investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
