Jacksonville, FL – Serious Car Accident with Injuries on Baymeadows Way

Jacksonville, FL (January 2, 2019) – Around 6:46 a.m. this morning, a serious car accident with injuries took place on Baymeadows Way in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue and various other responders assisted at the scene of the accident. They found that multiple vehicles collided on Baymeadows around the area of Philips Highway. All southbound lanes were blocked after the accident.

One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. That person was hospitalized with serious injuries.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
