Lake City, FL – Hit-and-Run Accident on FL-47 and SW Business Point Dr
Lake City, FL (May 30, 2020) – Around 12:50 p.m. this afternoon, authorities were called to the scene of a hit-and-run accident in Lake City.
Local law enforcement officials responded to the scene immediately, where they discovered that at least two vehicles collided at the intersection of FL-47 and Southwest Business Point Drive in Lake City.
Though few details have been confirmed, police have stated that one of the vehicles involved in the accident fled the scene without calling the police or checking on injured parties. Paramedics were seen assisting those who were harmed in the accident but, at this time, their conditions are not yet known.
The scene was quickly cleared and traffic in the area of the collision continued as normal.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
