Palatka, FL – Injury Accident at US-17 & Gordon Wilkinson Rd
Palatka, FL (June 10, 2020) – Around 11:17 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident at an intersection in Palatka.
The accident took place when two vehicles allegedly collided at the intersection of US-17 and Gordon Wilkinson Road for reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Due to the severity of the accident, multiple emergency responders were called to the scene. These included paramedics, who assisted those with injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The right lane of traffic was blocked for some time, leading to extensive delays in the area.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
