St. Augustine, FL (January 20, 2020) – On Sunday morning, January 19th, police responded to the scene of a bicycle accident that caused serious injuries on West Road in St. Augustine.

The accident took place around 9:00 a.m. in the area of Florida A1A when a 93-year-old woman in a Honda failed to yield to traffic and struck a bicyclist.

The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the accident and said that the motor vehicle driver was cited with failing to yield the right-of-way.
