Jacksonville, FL – Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on US-90
Jacksonville, FL (February 25, 2020) – On Monday evening, February 24, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident led to a fatality on US-90 in Jacksonville.
Trooper confirmed that the male pedestrian was walking across the westbound lanes of traffic at 7:10 p.m. when he was struck by a white Toyota pickup truck traveling west. The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene after striking the pedestrian.
Police confirmed that the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Highway Patrol continues to search for the pickup truck driver and continues its investigation.
