St. Augustine, FL (July 24, 2020) – Around 11:58 a.m. this morning, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in St. Augustine.

Though few details have been released regarding the collision, police confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of US-1 and Stokes Landing Road. It is believed that two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. The injured victims were hospitalized.

The roadway was blocked in numerous lanes for a period of time. Police were able to quickly clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
