Starke, FL – Victims Hospitalized After Boat Accident on Kingsley Lake
Starke, FL (February 23, 2020) – Yesterday afternoon, February 22, multiple victims were hospitalized following a boat accident on Kingsley Lake in Starke. Clay County Fire Rescue assisted at the scene, where they found that a boat overturned on the lake. Two adults and two children were hospitalized with injuries. Authorities confirm that the children and adults were in the water for approximately 45 minutes before they were rescued. The investigation into the accident continues. Starke, FL – Car Accident on Ave B at Camp Blanding
Starke, FL (February 22, 2020) – Around 11:30 a.m. this morning, a car accident took place near the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center that led to injuries. Police confirmed that the collision took place on Avenue B when two vehicles collided with one another forcefully for reasons that are not yet known. Starke, FL (November 7, 2019) – On Tuesday evening around 8:15 p.m., a hit-and-run crash took place at the intersection of Northeast 17th Avenue and State Road 230. The crash happened only a short distance away from the Clay County line. Starke, FL (November 1, 2019) – One person died on Sunday night and several others were injured in a head-on collision that took place on FL-16 near Kingsley Lake. Troopers were dispatched to the scene around 9:50 p.m. that night in the area of Mary Dot Lane. They found that 51-year-old Shawn Eric Mcleod’s SUV drove into on-coming traffic on the roadway.
