Update: Palatka, FL – One Killed in US-17 Collision Involving Garbage Truck
Palatka, FL (January 24, 2020) – At around 6:00 a.m., on January 23rd, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 17. Reports indicate that 32-year-old Eric Edenfield was walking south along the roadway when he was struck by a garbage truck.
Edenfield sustained fatal injuries in the collision and died at the scene.
At this time, the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
