Waldo, FL – Car Crash at Waldo Rd and Kennard St Leads to Injuries
Waldo, FL (July 26, 2020) – Around 5:30 p.m. this evening, police responded to the scene of a car crash with injuries at an intersection in Waldo.
The accident, according to authorities, took place at the intersection of Waldo Road and Kennard Street. The accident took place between two vehicles and led to extensive damages, which had to be removed from the scene. It is believed that the two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time.
Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the crash including local law enforcement officials, fire crews, and paramedics. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the conditions of those involved are not yet known. The injured victims were immediately hospitalized.
The northbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time until police were able to clear the roadway.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
