Jacksonville, FL (December 21, 2019) – Around 5:25 p.m. last evening, a fatal motorcycle crash involving a bicyclist took place at a Jacksonville intersection.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Spring Glen Road. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office immediately responded to the scene of the collision.
The accident occurred when the motorcyclist was traveling west and his motorcycle left the road, where it struck the bicyclist on the sidewalk.
The motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident while the bicyclist was hospitalized with critical injuries. The motorcyclist may have struck a truck before the cyclist as well.
Neither party has been identified but the accident remains under investigation.
