Jacksonville, FL (June 14, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, police responded to the scene of a car accident on a Jacksonville highway.
The accident took place when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of FL-9A after the area of Alta Drive. The vehicles involved were badly damaged due to the collision.
Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the collision. They assisted those with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The road was blocked for only a short period of time. Police quickly reopened the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
