Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Bicycle Accident on Cassat Avenue

Jacksonville, FL (March 9, 2020) – Around 1:10 a.m. this morning, a fatal bicycle accident took place at 400 Cassat Avenue that led to the fatality of one victim.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the collision where they found that a bicyclist was struck by a passenger vehicle when they were either riding on the street or crossing the street.

The driver who struck the bicyclist remained at the scene of the accident and has been cooperating with the police.

The identity of the bicyclist is not known at this time. Police continue their investigation into the collision.
