St. Augustine, FL (April 30, 2020) – At 10:30 a.m. this morning, police responded to a car accident with injuries on a major highway in St. Augustine.

Though few details have been released concerning the accident, police were able to confirm that the accident occurred when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of I-95.

Injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision so that they could assist those with injuries, though the extent of their damages is not yet known.

No roadblocks were issued in the area because of police quickly working to clear the scene, so traffic resumed as normal.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
