Jacksonville, FL (May 30, 2020) – Around 4:16 p.m. last afternoon, May 29, numerous responders were called to the scene of a car crash in Jacksonville.

The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of Forest Street and Park Street when two or more vehicles collided with one another.

Fire crews were present at the scene and advised that one person was trapped inside their vehicle. They were able to extricate the victim, where they were then transported to the hospital by paramedics. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.

Police confirmed that the intersection was blocked for some time.

The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the collision continues.
