Jacksonville, FL – Pedestrian Accident at Julia St and Forsyth St
Jacksonville, FL (January 30, 2020) – Early Friday, a serious pedestrian accident took place at the intersection of Julia Street and Forsyth Street in Jacksonville.
According to authorities, the collision took place when a man was walking through the intersection when he was suddenly struck by a Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Video surveillance taken at the scene of the accident showed the man allegedly had the right-of-way. The driver of the truck got out so that they could render aid to the male pedestrian. He was allegedly lying down in a pool of blood.
The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital where he was treated in the intensive care unit.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the collision at this time.
