Jacksonville, FL (July 7, 2020) – Early this morning, two people were injured in a car accident that took place on a major roadway in Jacksonville.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place around 9:33 a.m. when two or more vehicles collided at 9800 Argyle Forest Boulevard.

Two people were trapped in their vehicles as a result of the collision. They were immediately extricated with the help of fire crews and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their current conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time following the accident.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
