Lake City, FL (July 25, 2020) – Around 11:55 a.m. this morning, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Lake City.

For reasons that are not yet known, two or more vehicles collided with one another at the intersection of US-90 and Tyre Road. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Numerous emergency responders, including fire crews and paramedics, were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. The injured victims were immediately transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Police confirmed that the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection only for a short period of time as they cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
