According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place around 11:41 a.m. when two or more vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of FL-202 (Butler Boulevard). The accident took place around the area of I-295.

Numerous responders were present at the scene of the accident including fire crews and paramedics. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
