Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on I-295 Near Wilson Blvd
Jacksonville, FL (July 11, 2020) – Around 11:48 a.m. this morning, authorities were dispatched to the scene of a car accident on a major Jacksonville highway.
The accident allegedly took place when multiple vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of I-295 around the area of Wilson Boulevard.
Numerous responders including the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, fire crews, and paramedics were prompted to assist at the scene of the collision. EMS crews assisted those with injuries.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
