Jacksonville, FL (November 13, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a serious car crash this morning around 10:15 a.m. that took place at a local intersection in Jacksonville.

The accident took place on major highway SR-13 and Saint Augustine Road. Police claim that all northbound and southbound lanes were blocked by traffic for several hours.

Police did not comment on the circumstances of the accident but it is believed that two vehicles collided in the intersection. Paramedics were called to assist parties in both vehicles.

No further information has been released but the investigation is ongoing at this time.
