Jacksonville, FL (June 11, 2020) – Around noon today, police responded to a serious hit-and-run crash that took place at an intersection in Jacksonville.

Police confirmed that the collision took place at the intersection of Baymeadows Circle and Baymeadows Road when two vehicles collided with one another.

Police confirmed that the one vehicle involved in the accident immediately fled the scene after the collision took place. Police did not confirm if they caught up with the vehicle responsible for the accident.

There were injuries reported to those involved in the collision but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
